FAQs
Have questions? We've got answers.
What age should my child first visit the dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends scheduling your child's first dental visit by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth erupting. Early visits help us establish a strong foundation for oral health and allow us to catch any potential issues before they become problematic. These initial visits are also great opportunities for parents to learn about proper oral hygiene techniques for their little ones.
How often should my child visit the dentist?
We recommend bringing your child in for regular check-ups and cleanings every six months. These routine visits allow us to monitor your child's oral development, provide preventive care, and address any concerns early on. However, some children may need more frequent visits based on their individual oral health needs or risk factors. We'll work with you to establish the most appropriate schedule for your child.
